Pays d'Aix Développement

Pays d'Aix Développement (PAD) is the economic development agency for the northern sector of the Aix-Marseille-Provence metropolitan area (formerly Pays d'Aix). PAD brings together all stakeholders in local economic development, both public and private.
Since 1994, PAD has provided French and foreign companies wishing to establish or expand in the Aix-en-Provence region with a unique welcome and support service. From project engineering to organizing site visits, PAD supports business leaders at every stage of their projects.

PAD manages the AMPA (Aix-Marseille-Provence Amorçage) program, co-financed by the French government and the Aix-Marseille-Provence Metropolitan Area. This 0% interest-free loan, capped at €50,000, is available upstream of business creation and provides financial leverage for innovative and technological projects.

Since December 16, 2015, PAD has been the new manager and coordinator of the innovative business incubators in Pertuis and Meyreuil and the business centers in Canet de Meyreuil and Gardanne.
