Le mur d'eau d'Aix en Provence

Le designer Christian Ghion a imaginé une saisissante entrée de ville pour Aix-en-Provence : il a paré le pont Juvénal Mozart du plus grand mur d'eau urbain d'Europe. Un hommage contemporain aux aqueducs romains.
As part of the beautification of public spaces in the neighborhood Sextius Mirabeau, the wall of water - a SEMEPA realization - was designed by renowned French designer Christian Ghion.

Hooked on the Juvenal bridge, below the new conservatory, it is on the south side, just like the plant wall by the landscaper Patrick Blanc (the second in Aix) is to the North Slope.


Occupying 700 m² at the town entrance and displaying 17 meter waterfall, it is the largest urban water wall in Europe.
