La Fontaine d'Argent has been a comedy venue since 1976 and is the oldest café-venue outside the capital and the second oldest in France after Café de la Gare in Paris.
La Fontaine d'Argent is a cultural institution in the city centre near Cours Mirabeau. La Fontaine d'Argent is all about comedy and hosts a hundred artists every year who spend a weekend or week performing here. National, regional, famous French and world-renowned artists love coming here to test out their shows.
The intimate and cosy venue creates a direct connection with the comedian so you feel like they're performing just for you!

The theatre also runs theatre classes and courses for adults and children all year round as well as children's shows (during half-term).
