Le Container gallery
Today, the gallery has grown and settled in the heart of the historic centre of Aix-en-Provence, on rue Granet. It represents more than twenty artists, including some of the biggest names in urban art, such as C215, a portrait painter recognised as a master of stencil art and exhibited all over the world. They are joined by emerging talents such as L'Insecte, Zeklo and the Austrian graffiti artist Golif, who creates monumental frescoes and will be exhibiting at the Wien Museum in 2019.
The gallery also features silkscreens by Atlas, whose psychedelic lines adorn Marseille's L2 motorway, and by M.Chat and his famous yellow cats with their XXL smiles.
On the contemporary art side, the gallery highlights works by local artists such as Marie Deforche and Aurore Michel-Grégoire, Leberloa's art brut, and sculptures by François Bel, who works with static movement, and Lise Gonthier with her 'tableaux de lumière' as she calls them, poetic and romantic osmoses that reveal all the sensuality of glass.
